Let’s sing and dance together!
Lulu
is kind a sweet little-girl who loves to watch local tv. She’s 7th,
and she just beginner in English, she just learns to know about colors, fruits
name, and some short conversations.
When
she was 5th, she loves ST12. Yeya, the band has a lot of on-air-show
in so many-many early-morning-music-show. It’s okay, no way, as long as she’s
sings and still loves Spongebob and Patrick, and also loves to turn on the Dancow’s
CD collection. She’s enjoying her childhood, like I was crazy about Westlife. That’s
about which media you see, so you’ll get your ‘superhero’, in music too.
One
day, she asked me about, “am I have ST12 songs?”. Ah, sadly, I wasn’t. But,
hei, to comforted her, I played “Sing” from Mocca for her. Guess what, she likes
it. Who wouldn’t love that song, anyway? Then I leave some Mocca’s to her, yeah,
even she never listens again.
And,
here we are, pillow-ing and blanket-ing every night. So, she has to listen for
every song I’ve played. Happy to know that she loves any. Okai, she
dislikes Coldplay, then I wouldn’t play them to Lulu. I try
other-and-other-and-other songs to her. Choose some cheery tone, and wait for
her reactions, ‘til get her favorite songs.
I
name it as: The Lulu Mixtape (a fun mixtape)
Which
songs she likes? Here we go:
I’d Rather Dance With You (KOC)
She
very-very-loves this song. O, who wouldn’t? When she watched the VC for the
first time, she wanted me to replay the VC, again and again. For what, she was
dancing like the ballerina on the VC. Hhhaaa… she always offers me to play
that VC for her, then we dance together. Move our legs and hands. The funniest
thing came when she said to me, “Mbak,
the VC was made on 2004, Lulu wasn’t yet birth”. Ahahhahaaaa… :D
Beautiful - Cantik (Cherry Belle)
Hey,
come on, I bet that every girl who watch TV must know this song. “You’re beautiful, beautiful, kamu cantik,
cantik, dari hatimuuu…”. A local K-pop-fever-girlband with nine (or seven?) dool-look-wanna-be
who dance like a kindergarten students and love to say “chibby, chibby, chibby, hap-hap-hap”. A sarcastic term, uh. But no, they're sweet anyway. In my opinion, whose barely enjoy this song, the song is
about being positive thinking, like one of my friend said about them in his
review. That’s good for their fans, the little-girls (like Lulu) and teenager. A
funny, cheery, and lovely song.
The Best Thing (Mocca)
Lulu
loves to follows Arina’s gesture when she shakes her head. Ahaahah… she loves to humming
too. Try to says: “I've got the best
thing in the world, cause i got you in my heart, and this screw little world, let's
hold hand together, we can share forever, maybe someday the sky will be colored
with our love”. An another cheery and funny song.
Sing (Mocca)
This
song is a first touch between Lulu and Mocca. The easy English phrase in this
song is easy to followed by Lulu. Short and clean. “Sing. Sng
a song, sing aloud, sing out strong. Sing a good things, not bad. Sing of
happy, not sad”. That sooo easy to her who barely learn English and in a
fun way too, anyway.
Aksi Kucing (White Shoes and The
Couples Company)
Ahhahaha,
that’s was genius when Sari and friends added clause “meong, meong” in this song. That’s iconic. Hear the intro, that’s make us dance. A
funny song, uh? And listen for this: “Apa
guna Bu, malu-malu kucing (meong-meong), meong-meong di belakang suaranya
nyaring. Jangan suka Bu, diam-diam kucing (meong-meong), sudah menerkan
sebelumnya berunding.” In the end of this song, Lulu asked me, “Mbak, is the song tell about kucing (cat)?”.
Hhhaa, then I tell her, that, this song is about to, don’t be a ‘kucing’, don’t
be a gossiper, ah here: “Jangan jahat
sama temen, jangan suka ngomongin kejelekan-kejelekan temen ke orang-orang. Ntar
Is that
an advice? Uh!
Settle Down (Kimbra)
I
just barely very-serious-to-know this song and sing it very loud, almost every day.
Such a shame, uh? We watched the video together, and, yeah, she loved the VC. In
other way, Lulu loves to dance in the end of the song. Okai, we love to dance
together. The VC is telling about our childhood, I think. We wanna seem like
our mom, who has a husband, our father. Then, we play a-wife-y thing with our
doll. Did you ever? Of course I did. Hear this part: “I wanna raise a child, i wanna raise a child. Won't you raise a child
with me? raise a child. We'll call her Nebraska, Nebraska Jones. She'll have
your nose, just so you know.” Yes, Lulu knows about it and she loves it. I bet,
if she knows what the lyric wanna tells about, she will love to sing it. But,
you know, its kind a not-easy to sing it. Then, I wish you agree with me, that
it’s an incredible song.
-----
The
conclusions:
Lulu
is more interest on rhythm and video clip. She doesn’t care about lyric or song
meaning. It shows the clause that, a child will interest in tone and
visualization is true. :))))
Notabene:
She
can’t spell English well, so, she just enjoy the music, humming, swinging and
dancing. But, you know, that’s funny. Just maybe, kind like, if you’re boy and
you have a little-bro, then you enjoy the match till midnight. Anyway, she hates ERK’s “Cinta Melulu”, she
hates phrase “lulu” over there. :))))

Let's sing and dance together with these songs: 1. I'd Rather Dance With You - KOC
4. Sing - Mocca
wah mixtape nya canggih nih.. :)
ReplyDeletengomong2, setuju dengan pendapat yg satu ini "a child will interest in tone and visualization is true". jika melodi nya mudah diingat dan ditirukan, pasti anak langsung suka.
maka dari itu, jika pengin membuat lagu yg bakal terkenal di Indonesia, maka buatlah lagu yg mudah diingat oleh anak kecil. pasti bakal populer deh tuh lagu. hhe
ahahhaaaa, apanya yang canggih mas? :D
ReplyDeleteayok bikin lagu anak-anak yang menyenangkan mas... :)))
canggih donk. masih kecil tp dah dengerin musik2 yg asyik. hhe
tapi emang mocca buat anak kecil cukup menyenangkan kayaknya, kan lagunya banyak yang cheer-up, melodinya juga asyik... :)
ntar biar gedenya keren, kayak mas pondra... hhaa...
*muji yang banyak, biar dapet banyak cokelat*
:D
